Sure you can fix, but will probably cost as much (or more) a new camera. Therefore, all devices come with a wrist or neck strap. The first thing I do when my camera manipulation is to put the strap neck above my head. You can remove the memory card, then the battery and put it in a sealed container of rice and let sit for a couple of weeks and see what happens (If it falls into salt water / Ocean …. forget it)
