What kind of lens should I buy for Canon Digital Rebel XTi?

I am an amateur photographer. I love taking pictures of things I like the landscape and animals and people in natural environments. I did my research and the Canon Digital Rebel XTi looks good to me. I'm not completely new to photography, but I am new to SLR and am confused about what lens should I buy.

If you buy the kit, XTi with 18-55mm comes with it. This is a great lens most beginners. If you buy the body separately, a series of lenses to choose from. You can also purchase the above objective. If you buy the body, I suggest you buy a good target. Finally, you find that you want to do more than just photograph the landscapes and animals. And then you want a zoom with macro too. So why waste money later, if you can buy a lens to find slightly higher cost. Just make sure that the target is EF or EF-S. These (canon or after the target market for Sigma or Tamron) can be used on any EOS Rebel digital SLR camera. So even if you want to update your Camea, you still be able to use the lens. 28-250mm lens is very versatile and is my favorite. Rohn
