What do you think of Canon ELPH?

The camera I want, the Canon PowerShot Digital ELPH 10.0 megapixels, is on sale at Best Buy Original 179 249. Sounds like a great camera for what I've read. if you can give me the pros and cons of this unit. Why so?

It is a bit of P & S all the usual limitations. Depends on what you want from it. If your intention is instantaneous light very good, while the camera is great. If you want to take pictures in less than ideal lighting situations, it does not. If you want to take photography seriously, you have to choose a camera that gives much manual control to allow you to go the "I" and start learning.
