How I can make a black and white image with my Canon 530 digital camera?

Is there a place in the Canon PowerShot 530 digital allowing you to take black and white photos? I know I can take pictures in color, then use a graphics program to convert gray scale, but I take photos like a grayscale camera during filming. It is possible and how?
