I need help deciding which camera to buy?

I'm a little short on cash, so I can not go for something too expensive. I for either the Nikon D40, Fujifilm FinePix S700 or Kodak EasyShare Z712. Any other suggestion of surveillance cameras in the price of 600 would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. :]

As lon gas you on the list, I would say that there is no reason to buy anything other than the D40. Compared with other cameras, is far superior.
