Please help! When connected to a timer?
I have a Sony DSLR-A300. I recently got a shot OPTEK wireless, I have no idea how to configure. the instructions say "Turn off the receiver, set the channel selector for the transmitter and receiver in the same position (total 16 channels) and turn on the receiver. "I changed channels on the two switches remotes (1 seat, two up, three down, 4 up) Both managers respond to each other, but has absolutely no effect on my camera. I feel like an idiot trying to understand this, if you could please give me step by step all I can do to make this work, it would be wonderful! maybe try plugging the camera? I got hot-shoe flash, but had no effect on my camera. Do I have to change the settings on my camera, or get another cable attatch the camera to the receiver? I had never worked before remote. : / Thanks! -Me
The cable version with remote triggers (as opposed to IR remote controls) usually to a socket 10-pin in the main proceedings. Some others are sitting in the shoe and have a PC connection to the PC sync socket on camera body. I found this in a review of the site "on the left side the body of the A300 is a large rubber cap that covers a port for a remote release cable, and a DC-adapter into the port sector. "Let's see if the output is for connecting the Optek Sensor. What the sender is that? Can you post a link to the same product?
